Return Device Batteries

POLYTRON Service

Proper Battery Recycling – Return Options Including at Our Headquarters

All devices must be disposed of as electronic waste in accordance with current disposal regulations of your district/state/country after their use. Some devices contain built-in device batteries. These must be collected separately from the device and disposed of properly in accordance with the applicable legal regulations of your district/state/country.

Therefore, please do not dispose of device batteries in normal household waste, but use the designated municipal collection points or return systems, e.g. recycling centers, municipal hazardous waste mobile units, or local collection points with registration.

In addition, we offer the option to return device batteries directly at our headquarters at Langwiesenweg 64-71 in Bad Wildbad. There is a collection box where used batteries can be returned free of charge.

The relevant devices are marked with the following notice stickers:

Why is Recycling Important?

Protecting the environment and resources is simple: Used batteries must not go in household waste but must be recycled properly. They contain valuable but also harmful substances such as lithium, zinc, lead, or cadmium. If disposed of incorrectly, these substances can pollute soil, water, and harm health. Through recycling, important materials can be reused.
Every properly disposed battery is disassembled and the raw materials are reused for new products. This way, we work together to prevent environmental pollution and conserve resources.
