POLYTRON optical components combine the superior proven POLYTRON functionality with the latest optical technology.

Built-up receiving systems that span over great distances - we would like to help you with the planning!

The OR 4 S optical receiver converts the incoming optical signal for direct connection of upt to four receivers or TV sets.
The subscribers can receive all programmes with a standard digital receiver or TV set with an built-in digital tuner. It is irrelevant whether the individual programs are broadcast in HDTV, as pay TV or as free-to-air signals.

4 subscribers resp. devices

The OR 5 QT optical receiver converts the incoming optical signal back into the four SAT polarization levels and a terrestrial signal.
The output signals can be fed into multiswitch distribution systems or headends.

  • Conversion of the optical signal without quality loss
  • For connection to a multiswitch system
  • Built-in CWDM
  • Power supply with 20 VDC
  • SC/APC connector
  • Delivered with power supply

Multiswitch system

POLYTRON OPM-QTSThe converter OPM-QTS is a terminal station of the fibre-optic network which converts the light-wave signal back into the original satellite signal with terrestrial signal.

The OPM-QTS quattro converter gives out the four sat levels:  HH, VH, HL, VL and a terrestrial signal, which allows for the direct connection to a multiswitch system.

The mini receiver of the AON126 series receives optical signals and delivers both SAT IF and CATV signals at the output.

The mini transmitters of the AOT126 series transmit both SAT IF and CATV signals via optical cables. They are a cost-effective solution and impress with their valuable performance.

The splitters OSF ... SC/APC split an optical signal to 2, 3, 4 or 8 outputs. Each connection is equipped with a SC/APC socket. The incoming and outgoing optical cables can be connected directly to the splitter avoiding faults and needless couplings.

The splitters OSF ... SC/APC split the optical signal asymmetrical to 2 outputs. Each connection is equipped with a SC/APC socket. The incoming and outgoing optical cables can be connected directly to the splitter avoiding faults and needless couplings.

The AOS optical splitters series offers a balanced splitting ratio for high quality video transmission in CATV networks. Together with AT 5000 1RU 1550nm transmitter and the AT5200 EDFA with WDM, the AOS series provides an ideal video overlay solution in high density FTTX networks to bring the video services to business, home and hotel premises.

  • Full line of optical passives
  • Several splitting ratios 1x4 / 1x8 / 1x16 / 1x32 / 1x64
  • Balanced split ratios
  • High port isolation
  • Flexibility for customization
  • Standard 19“ housing (others upon request)

  • IP gateway with output modulator

    IP gateway with output modulator

The device has a gateway module that can be used for protocol conversion and an integrated 8-way DVB-T modulator.

This means that IP signals (HTTP, UDP, RTP, RTSP and HLS) can be received, converted and distributed in the network as an IP stream and in parallel as a DVB-T signal in a single device.

  • Modular Headends

    Modular Headends

POLYTRON's MPX series is the next generation of modular video processing.

The powerful 19" headends can accommodate up to six modules and have two redundant power supplies - for maximum reliability.

MPX Series is a highly flexible solution that is perfect for a wide range of applications....

  • HDMI Modulators

    HDMI Modulators

POLYTRON modulators are used to process HDMI signals up to 4K from cameras, media players, PCs etc. for feeding into TV reception and distribution systems.

  • Multiswitches

    Multiswitches

The Green Line series multiswitches guarantee the best quality and maximum reliability for your reception system. The new multiswitches are now available in a more compact design as high-quality 5, 9 and 17-way single and cascade multiswitches as well as matching amplifiers.

  • Optical Distribution

    Optical Distribution

    Headline

The distribution of satellite signals via fibre optic cable offers decisive technical and economic advantages, especially for larger distances / distribution networks and a wide variety of programmes. In addition to the high data capacity and virtually loss-free signal transmission, the fast installation and reliability of pre-assembled fibre optic cables play a decisive role.
The POLYTRON system works with conventional LNBs and utilises proven CWDM technology for signal transmission.
