POLYTRON’s optical transmitters are designed to build optical distribution systems.
The optical transmitters operate with a distributed feedback laser. The senders’ control is managed with buttons and a LC display in front of the device. The output power is 4, 6, 8 resp. 20 mW.

Application:
A POLYTRON headend receives e.g. terrestrial signals, SAT signals or HDMI signals and converts the signals to DVB-C or DVB-T.
The optical transmitter OT ... DFB converts the electrical into optical signals, which can be distributed via fibre optic cables.
