Modular IP based headend with multiplexing
The MPX series is the next generation of modular video processing from POLYTRON. The powerful 19" headend supports up to six modules and has two redundant power supplies – for maximum reliability. With the built-in IP switch and a variety of hot-swap input and output options, the MPX series is a highly flexible solution that is perfect for a wide range of applications, including hospitality, residential, education, public service and more.
The MPX 106 D has an excellent price/performance ratio and supports DVB-S/S2 and DVB-C signal reception, HDMI encoding of various sources and simultaneous IPTV and QAM distribution. This makes the headend ideal for switching to digital reception. With the intuitive web programming interface, the MPX 106 D is easy to install and operate.
