The introduction of LTE as the new standard for mobile broadband internet is causing reception problems with digital terrestrial television (DVB-T) in many areas.
Due to the close frequency proximity of the two standards, severe interference can occur in DVB-T signal transmission when an LTE transmitter is installed in the immediate vicinity of a DVB-T antenna, or when smartphones are used near the receiving antenna.
To ensure interference-free reception in the affected installations, a POLYTRON LTE filter is installed between the terrestrial receiving antenna and the first amplifier or receiver.
Thanks to the use of high-quality components, the filters achieve a high rejection depth as well as very steep filter flanks.
